The Kagiso Readers series can be used to support reading skills and as a complete literacy learning programme. It enables learners to develop literacy skills incrementally and with confidence. Each reader uses the vocabulary that was used in the previous book in the series and adds a few new words. The series integrates reading with other aspects of language, thus developing listening, speaking, writing, thinking and reasoning skills, as well as structure and usage.
